Supporting a strong and recognizable personal image across online and offline platformsAn ongoing collaboration with Dutch artist and comedian Gover Meit, also known as Stefano Keizers or Donny Ronny.
For several theatre productions, I was commissioned to create promotional photography that captures the essence of Gover’s distinctive stage persona. The photographs needed to work both as editorial images for media, and as visual marketing material to attract audiences to his theatre shows.
Alongside theatre photography, we regularly collaborate on conceptual shoots, producing new visual content for press, posters and social media.
My Role

︎ Creative direction during conceptual shoots: deciding on locations and directing poses and expressions
︎ Combining street photography with staged imagery to create a surreal atmosphere that reflects Govers’ ambivalent and unconventional persona
The Outcome
︎The photographs are regularly published in Dutch newspapers and magazines alongside interviews and reviews, helping to promote Gover’s theatre shows ︎Visuals in television broadcasts when Gover appears on talk shows, illustrating his performances
︎The photography is featured on promotional posters and marketing materials of Govers’ theatre productions
︎Ongoing use of the images across the artist’s social media channels, to support content needs
